I joked with Gina the other night that we need to start to keep a record of all of Tanner's adventures because I thought there were going to be so many of them. Gina showed a couple pictures of his climbing skills, but I have a few more to share.
I want to remind everyone that he isn't even walking yet. And all of us that know Tanner, are just fine with that. Gina is perfectly happy with him being a little less mobile for now..... or so we thought. I have to say, with all the kids I have watched over, I have never had a child that loved to climb like he does. I told Gina that she was in for some trouble and from the stories I have heard about Mike's childhood, she is in for a ride :)

This is Tanner in one of the toys I have. This is pretty normal for all the kids to empty it out and sit in it to play. He was so funny. He just kept laughing and laughing at himself.

This picture is from a few days ago. I found him sitting on the ledge part of the baby walker. How he got up there, I don't know, but by the time I got my camera, he was trying to crawl into the seat of it.

And on to yesterday's adventure...... He figured out after snack time that he could get up to the table. I was putting things away in the kitchen and turned to find him standing up at the table. I thought "oh crap" when I saw this. Not only for the fact he could fall and hurt himself, but I was pretty sure he got up there on his own. Look how happy he was is with himself.
After several attempts and much grunting, he figured out how to pull himself up to the table.

He was so happy he could get to his cup all by himself. (don't mind the crazy hair, he just got up from a nap:)

Tanner then figured out he could get on top the the table. That being up there was even better. Notice how tickled Josie is about the whole thing. She just couldn't stop laughing at him. Like that wasn't encouraging him at all.

Tanner decided that since he was up there he might as well clean up the little spaghettio's that were left on the table still from lunch a couple here and there that I hadn't got to yet. That was mighty nice of him, that was until he mistaken a ladybug for a noodle. Oops, that one was a little crunchier than the others were..... LOL. He spit it back out.

So, after about 15 times of getting on the table and me taking him back off and to the living room, it wasn't as funny as it was in the beginning. I'm not real sure what I am going to do with him. It's going to be challenging. I also posted these on the FB and wrote on there that I am going to have to hang a sign saying that I am not responsible for accidents. You know if we wasn't so darn cute, it would be a lot easier for me to get after him. I kept telling him no, no Tanner, and all he'd do is shake his head with me and say NO, NO..... and laugh at me. I'll have to see if I can get a video of this sometime, it's pretty funny!!

So, here is a picture I took of what he did when I moved the bench away from the table. Not much better. He then just thought he could get onto the highchairs instead. After that, Josie was put on "Tanner Watch"..... whew, he is a handful, I am just so thankful at the end of the day I can send him back home!!
Today wasn't any better. He was back and on my table after being here for less than 15 min. this morning. Today he did get in trouble. He hasn't been as bad about it, I tried really hard to keep him distracted. But the days not over yet.
